4x10 Banner Pricing and Materials
In many outdoor advertising situations, selecting a 4x10 banner to create that perfect mini outdoor billboard for advertising your business is the perfect choice for getting your banner noticed and attracting the consumer traffic you are wanting. This size is great for outdoor advertising for a couple of reasons. First of all, the 10 foot width is large enough to boldly ensure your message gets noticed with large graphics and font size, while still small enough to ensure the location choices you have available remain plenty. Many of the smaller billboard ads that can be seen in and around local communities prefer 4x10 banners because of their ease of visibility. Whether you are a real estate professional and you want to advertise available residential or commercial property, or you are planning on hanging your banner on a high building, getting noticed even from a large distance is going to be easy to do.

- set dpi to be anywhere from 100 to 300 dpi
- regular RGB or sRGB color space
- save as 100% quality jpeg file
- regular RGB, sRGB color space, or Regular CMYK
- embedded raster images should be at least 100dpi at actual size
- embed all raster images
- convert all text to outlines
- expand all strokes
- save as a pdf file
- at 100dpi - 4800x12000 pixels;
- at 150dpi - 7200x18000 pixels;
- at 300dpi - 14400x36000 pixels;
As a general rule, the more detailed your artwork is, the higher DPI (pixel count) it should to be. For pictures and photographs, lower pixel/dpi counts are fine (72-100dpi). For text rich artwork, and for files with lots of details such as logos, maps, menus, etc, use higher pixel/dpi count (150-300dpi).
72 dpi is the minimum resolution we would recommend for printing, and the 300 dpi for the maximum resolution.
