4’x4’ Banner Options and Specs

4 foot square banners are actually one of our more eye catching, attention getting configurations. Probably because of the fact that this is one of the larger format displays for print space we offer, and the fact that you are dealing with a 4' x 4' area for your printed message, the possibilities for designing an attention getting banner are endless. 4'x4' banners look even bigger than they are and provide enough space for using large type-set fonts and huge graphics. These 4x4 displays also are perfect to adhere on the back of a half of sheet of plywood. Mounted with stakes or poles, this sized banner is perfect for commercial real estate signs and other larger than average square banner displays for attracting motorists as they drive by your signage. Whether you plan to hang your 4 ft square banners on a wall space, over a window, or you plan on triangular mounting two half sheets of plywood and adhere your banners to the backdrop for those new cross triangle configured signs people are starting to use, we are confident you will be more than pleased with the print quality and finishing standards we at Printastic will apply to your 4x4 banner.

Pixel Dimensions for 4x4 banners
For 4x4 banner pixel dimensions should be:

- at 72dpi - 3456x3456 pixels;
- at 100dpi - 4800x4800 pixels;
- at 150dpi - 7200x7200 pixels;
- at 300dpi - 14400x14400 pixels;

As a general rule, the more detailed your artwork is, the higher DPI (pixel count) it should to be. For pictures and photographs, lower pixel/dpi counts are fine (72-100dpi). For text rich artwork, and for files with lots of details such as logos, maps, menus, etc, use higher pixel/dpi count (150-300dpi).

72 dpi is the minimum resolution we would recommend for printing, and the 300 dpi for the maximum resolution.
